Ethical Issues in Software Requirements Engineering

Context: Ethics have broad applications in different fields of study and contexts. Like other study, ethics a significant impact on the decisions made computing concerning software artifact production its processes. Hence, this research, is considered context requirements engineering during development process. Objective: The aim paper to discuss investigation results regarding ethical problems processes by taking sample developing companies exposing existing research gaps. Method: This uses interviewing, focus group discussions, purposive sampling, qualitative analysis methods. Result: finds an absence industry practices, professional responsibility code conduct standards, guidelines within when integrating concerns engineering. It also indicates that almost all no identification methods checking mechanisms for concern considerations. Furthermore, major identified are classified into six categories as problems, quality-related carrying out unpermitted activities, unwillingness give requirements, knowledge gaps lack legal grounds/rules accountability. Conclusion: From findings it can be concluded that, case companies, there specific method identifying concerns. Additionally, standards used companies. implies need overcome emerging issues
